To ensure global consistency as well as act effectively and efficiently as one Company, Corporate HR provides strategic direction, counsel and advice, whereas the operational handling of most HR issues is in the hands of local HR.

What we do

Support people management
On each organizational level: corporate, regional, market and factory, and in each location where JTI has a business presence, Human Resources professionals partner with business leaders in order to support the different areas of people management.

Attract, retain, develop and reward people
HR attracts people in the labor market followed by an effective positioning, recruitment & selection process, which is backed by developing and maintaining competitive reward programs as well as engagement initiatives in order to retain JTI’s employees. HR also coordinates the performance development of employees in order to constantly meet the changing requirements of the business.

Facilitate learning and succession planning
HR facilitates and coordinates training and development opportunities in order to prepare our employees for future challenges, and steers the succession planning process in order to meet the objective of having: “the right people, in the right place, at the right time.”
