The three corporate HR functions: Compensation & Benefits, Succession Planning and Training & Development provide strategic direction and services to local HR specialists, in order to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all employees worldwide.

What we do

Support people management
On each organizational level: corporate, regional, market and factory, and in each location where JTI has a business presence, Human Resources specialists partner with business leaders in order to support the different areas of people management.

Attract, retain, develop and reward people
HR attracts people in the labor market followed by an effective recruitment & selection process, which is backed by developing and maintaining competitive and comprehensive reward programs in order to retain JTI’s employees. HR also coordinates the performance development of employees in order to constantly meet the changing requirements of the business.

Facilitate learning and succession planning
HR facilitates and coordinates training and development opportunities in order to prepare our employees for future challenges, and steers the succession planning process in order to meet the objective of having: “the right people, in the right place,
at the right time.”
