Communication between managers and employees is a critical part of the development process. We call our appraisal system 'Dialogue', to reflect the collaborative approach that the process requires.

Dialogue takes place throughout the year, with regular reviews, coaching and feedback. Employees and their managers set business and development objectives, which are achieved through our extensive catalogue of training. This includes on-the-job learning, formal internal and external training, and e-learning.

Our policy is to fill vacancies with internal candidates who have the right experience for the job.
