JTI STANDS FOR FREEDOM

JTI STANDS FOR FREEDOM

We are a ‘Top Employer’ and we believe that great things can happen when we are free – to learn, grow and develop our full potential.

At JTI, our employees are at the centre of everything we do. Others see it that way, too. JTI has been awarded "Top Employer Germany" eight times in a row. This certification is only awarded to those companies in Germany that offer their employees an outstanding working and development environment and that have recognized that their workforce is the most important key to success. With around 2,200 employees at its Cologne and Trier sites, JTI is one of 45 companies in Germany to have received this honour this year.

Being recognised as a ‘Top Employer’ again confirms that we are on the right track and we are very proud of that.
Patrick Cillien, People & Culture Director at JTI Germany

As the largest employer within the industry in Germany, we want to set the highest standards in personnel management and offer our colleagues the best possible working conditions.

Such an award cannot be taken for granted, especially in view of the turbulent past year, emphasizes Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink: “The year 2020 will go down as one of the most challenging in the history of business. With this in mind, JTI can be particularly proud of this year’s Top Employer 2021 award.”

JTI is all about driving innovation so consumers can choose from new and better products. But JTI is so much more.

JTI is our people. Their talent and potential. JTI is freedom. The freedom to be authentic in a company that respects and supports people to do so. The freedom to choose a career you enjoy. The freedom to learn and grow. Because when people have the freedom to choose, their possibilities are endless and great things can happen for the company – that’s what we believe at JTI.

A working climate like this can perhaps be visualized through data and statistics. But to really capture the atmosphere in the company and share it with people, we prefer to let JTI’lers speak for themselves – in this video...
