It was love at first sight for Miriam, who began her career at JTI as an intern over 7 years ago. She joined JTI after university studies as a business engineer. As soon as she discovered JTI's factories, their technology, machinery and speed of production, she knew this was the place for her. Today, Miriam works on the same production site in Switzerland, in the Global Manufacturing Excellence team, supporting factories to improve efficiency and elevate productivity. This means constantly working with different teams and departments and traveling around the world. Whether it's a visit to Tanzania, Poland or Taiwan, she always feels like she's "coming home" when she meets colleagues globally. “It's like a big family, it doesn't matter who you talk to, you are always welcomed. “
