Community Investment is an important part of JTI’s commitment to creating a better future for the communities where we operate. In Kazakhstan, we focus on projects that promote inclusion, environmental sustainability, and community resilience, while also encouraging employee volunteering and engagement.
Each year, JTI supports over 10 long-term Community Investment projects, reaching more than 18,000 beneficiaries and engaging over 150 employee volunteers, who contribute 350–400 volunteering hours annually.
Our key initiatives include support for Kazakhstan’s first inclusive theater “The Action Literally”, the development of professional standards of the Tutor profession to improve support for people with special needs, the conservation of Karasu Lake biodiversity, and the long-standing Japanese Spring International Festival of Arts.
Through these partnerships and employee engagement activities, we aim to create lasting positive impact and more inclusive, sustainable communities across Kazakhstan.
