Nearly 14 % of people in Slovakia live in poverty. Offering help while preserving people's dignity, we partnered with the NDS foundation to launch Charity Clothing Bank project.
In its first year, the initiative delivered 9,553 clothing packages directly to people in need, gave nearly 40 tons of textiles a second life, and supported more than 2,350 vulnerable families. By providing essential clothing in a discreet and respectful way, Charity Clothing Bank helps families access the support they need while reducing textile waste.
We want to be part of projects that make a real difference in people's lives and help create better opportunities for the future. Supporting families in need remains a long-term priority for us at JTI, and seeing people regain hope and move towards a more dignified future is what motivates us.
