At JTI, we advocate for informed, responsible adult consumer choice. Adult consumers deserve transparent information and fair access to alternatives. Our portfolio reflects this commitment, offering a range of reduced risk products* and smoking alternatives such as our Nordic Spirit nicotine pouches and our Ploom heated tobacco products.
JTI’s RRP mission is to provide fulfilling moments by delivering scientifically substantiated RRP propositions to our adult consumers.
* “Reduced-risk products” or “RRP” refers to products with the potential to reduce the risks associated with smoking
The Reduced-Risk Product category is one of the most dynamic areas of our business today. At JTI UK, we are focused on creating meaningful consumer value through innovation, strong brands, and deep category expertise. As the market continues to evolve, our ambition is to place existing Adult Consumers* at the core of everything we do.
* References to 'consumers' or 'users' refers to existing adult smokers, vape or nicotine product users.
Nicotine pouches provide consumers with a non-combustible alternative within our RRP portfolio. They contain a blend of plant-based fibers, nicotine and flavorings and provide a tobacco-free nicotine experience.
Nordic Spirit has been present in the UK since 2019 and is widely available across online and offline retail channels.
The pouch fits neatly under your lip, for a steady delivery of nicotine, no matter where you are.
Nordic Spirit comes in several strengths, flavors and formats – a discreet nicotine product that can be used in situations where smoking or vaping might not be possible.

Our innovative heated tobacco device, Ploom, was launched in the UK in 2020 and is available to purchase directly through our Ploom website, ploom.co.uk.
Ploom uses unique Smart HeatFlow™ technology to gently heat tobacco at the optimal temperature. As heated air circulates through the real tobacco inside EVO tobacco sticks, a flavourful vapour is released.
