Climate change needs bold action, and that's why we're transforming how we use energy and power our business. By 2030, we're aiming to reduce our emissions by 47% and be carbon neutral for our own operations – and renewable energy is key to getting us there. That's why we have a target to achieve 50% renewable electricity by the end of 2025.
Our progress tells a compelling story of real change. At the end of 2025, 62% of our total electricity came from renewable sources. We achieved our 2025 renewable electricity target already in 2024 and exceeded it substantially in 2025. This contributed to the 38% reduction in direct carbon emissions since 2019. Across our facilities, our solar panels are now generating about 25,500 MWh of electricity every year - enough to avoid around 18,700 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. These aren't just numbers - they represent meaningful steps toward a more sustainable future. And we continue to expand our use of renewable energy.
Our commitment to renewable energy is backed by rigorous standards and external validation. All our factories have energy management systems, the majority certified to ISO5001. Our environmental and energy data are independently verified by Bureau Veritas. Our emissions reduction targets are science-based and in-line with JTG targets which are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
