“JTI Seniors” is the first JTI social responsibility program, which began in 1998, in partnership with Bucharest 2nd District City Hall, and in which more than 40 senior citizens receive daily food and medicine. In 2005, with JTI’s support and in partnership with the Japanese Embassy, the Romanian-Japanese Studies Centre was created within the Romanian-American University.
As long-running projects, these are great examples of how many people can benefit when business like ours invest in local communities.
