We want you to be comfortable in your own skin, every day. No need to pretend or hide your true self. Embrace what makes you unique and let it shine so that we can all benefit.
We believe diversity is a strength. We unlock its full potential by fostering an inclusive environment. How? By recognizing that everyone starts from a different place in life and ensuring they receive the specific support they need to thrive, rather than simply providing the same resources to all.
By celebrating each person’s unique strengths, we can build a richer culture, spark innovation, and create a stronger business. And it’s simply the right thing to do.
I can see a future where every unique perspective fuels our innovation. That's the future we're building at JTI.
Lasting, positive change must come from every level of the business.
We have a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) advisory council of senior leaders to offer strategic guidance and align our goals, people and processes with DEI initiatives. The rest of the leadership team contribute to employee-led change by sponsoring employee resource groups.
Actions speak louder than words. Our global commitment covers two areas that we call 'equity for all' and 'wellbeing and mental health'.
Through these, we have a suite of dynamic programs and initiatives that are designed to build an inclusive culture and empower individuals to spark local change that leads to global impact. Discover more below!
At JTI, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a collective effort. We welcome and empower employees to contribute, believing that more voices and hands create a better and more inclusive culture. That's why we have dynamic Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) dedicated to amplifying the voices of our colleagues worldwide, working towards equity and equal opportunities.
We are committed to fair labor practices, supporting freedom of association and open dialogue with trade unions and works councils, even where not legally required. Our approach fosters constructive relationships, ensuring employees are treated fairly, especially during operational changes.
We go beyond legal requirements to uphold transparency, collaboration, and respect in all our workplaces.
